As a Laboratory Technician at Jälle Technologies, you’ll make sure our lab runs smoothly and our experiments deliver reliable results.

​

You’ll prepare and set up chemical experiments, handle samples carefully, monitor reactions, and keep detailed records of everything you do. Your hands-on support will help the team refine our recycling processes and ensure they’re safe, consistent, and effective.

By taking ownership of daily lab work, you’ll be essential in turning complex recycling challenges into practical, scalable solutions for a cleaner future.

About the position

What you'll do

As a Laboratory Technician at Jälle, you’ll support hands-on lab operations and material processing activities:

  • Prepare chemical solutions, handle samples, and carry out synthesis tasks using established procedures.

  • Support production and material purification steps during upcycling of graphite and other battery components.

  • Conduct basic analytical tests (e.g. pH, conductivity, XRD) with training and guidance.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment, stock chemicals, and uphold safety protocols.

  • Work closely with chemists and engineers in scaling up lab procedures.

  • Help ensure smooth and reliable lab workflows in a growing R&D environment.

What we're looking for

  • BSc or MSc in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.

  • Previous lab experience in a chemical or materials setting.

  • Familiar with safe handling of chemicals and standard lab instruments.

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized – you like getting things done right.

  • Bonus: Experience with carbon materials, analytical methods, or pilot-scale operations.
