From a Top 10 place in CEE Summer of Impact to pitching circular materials innovation at Norrsken Impact/Week in Barcelona
Turning battery-recycling waste into valuable materials took Jälle Technologies to Barcelona this October. Selected among the Top 10 of CEE Summer of Impact 2026, CEO and co-founder Erki Ani presented Jälle at the programme’s showcase during Norrsken Impact/Week on 15 October.
Organised by Tilia Impact Ventures, CEE Summer of Impact attracted more than 200 applications from across Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Greece. Jälle progressed through mentoring and pitch evaluation to the final cohort, with selection considering impact potential, founder–problem fit, market opportunity and mentor feedback.

In Barcelona, Jälle brought its work on converting graphite-rich battery-recycling residues into graphene oxide additives to an international community of investors and founders. With manufacturers testing its materials for coatings, composites and concrete, the company is preparing to move from laboratory batches towards pilot production.
Beyond the pitch, conversations with investors and fellow founders explored the technology and what it takes to build an industrial business around it. Jälle Technologies: more value from the materials we already have.
