Jälle Technologies Wraps Up Norrsken Evolve Accelerator and Showcases Innovation at Norrsken Impact Week in Barcelona

3. okt 2025

Jälle Technologies joins Europe’s leading impact innovators in Barcelona to showcase how science-driven solutions can accelerate the circular economy.

Jälle Technologies has successfully completed the Norrsken Evolve accelerator, a two-month program designed to support Europe’s most promising impact and deeptech startups. The program culminated in Norrsken Impact Week, held in Barcelona on October 1–2, where Jälle’s team presented its mission and progress to a global audience of investors, entrepreneurs, and sustainability leaders.

Over the course of the accelerator, Jälle Technologies refined its go-to-market strategy, strengthened investor readiness, and expanded its network across Europe’s impact and cleantech ecosystem. The program also provided a unique opportunity to engage with mentors, industry experts, and founders tackling some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.

“Being part of Norrsken Evolve has been an inspiring experience,” said Erki Ani, CEO and co-founder of Jälle Technologies. “We’ve had the chance to learn from leading deeptech innovators and connect with impact-driven investors who believe in the role of science-based solutions in building a circular future.”

At the Norrsken Impact Week showcase in Barcelona, Jälle presented its vision of transforming battery waste into high-value graphene materials — bridging the gap between battery recycling and advanced material applications. The company’s approach demonstrates how scientific innovation can create real industrial impact while contributing to Europe’s transition toward a sustainable and circular economy.

“Programs like Norrsken Evolve remind us how important it is to link fundamental science with commercialization,” added Dr. Kerli Liivand, CTO of Jälle Technologies. “Our work started in the lab, but the impact happens when that science scales — when innovation becomes part of industry.”

As Jälle Technologies moves forward, the company continues to build partnerships with recyclers, material manufacturers, and investors who share its commitment to circular materials innovation.

Jälle Technologies is an Estonian deeptech company developing sustainable technologies for upcycling battery waste into graphene materials. Founded by a team of scientists and entrepreneurs, Jälle bridges the gap between recycling and advanced materials — creating scalable, science-driven solutions for Europe’s green transition.
